Came back from camp today
Overall the camp was fun and made many new friends who would all become my schoolmates or even classmates.Just find the camp a bit too long.
Anyway st johns island is a very beautiful place.The seawater there is very clear unlike the ones is Singapore.we can see through the seawater and look at our
feets in the water.
From the beach,we can see the mainland and the view is super nice.the whole raffles place office buildings can be seen and i would recommend a visit to the island
the stars there at night is 10 times more than the stars we see in Singapore.
On the second night,we had a night walk which i find the most enjoyable out of all the activities.however,it is super scary with many human ghosts chasing us around during the walk.my night walk partner kept telling me that he not scared during the walk but still shouted 10000x louder than me when the 'ghosts' chase us.i nearly became deaf.
Although i heard the island is haunted and the seniors also told us some ghost stories of the island,i didn't experience any supernatural events.
On the last night of the camp,we had campfire and disco night and everyone really enjoyed ourselves and played until 4am before turning in.
During the day,we would mostly be playing games.Found the water games most fun although i ended up very wet in the end.all the boys were also forced to wear our underwear outside like superman during the water games.damn
embarrassing when the tourists walk past us.
Coincidentally my group leader also live in
khatib and we even played basketball together quite a number of times before.
Anyway for the camp,out of the 50 plus campers,only four were girls.but looking on the bright side,
at least there are still girls. i had expected an all boys camp.was also told that at most,there will at most be 2 girls out of 20 students in each class.
Went to celebrate Yong Jun's birthday just now after coming back from camp with Cy, cw, Terence, Jackie, Gordon, john,
kaiyang, Esther, Charis, and hazel.had lots of fun and everyone was running around trying to escape from getting cake on their faces.
Okay,I'm very tired now.slept only a few hours during the camp so I'm going to sleep now.
